Top ten best places I had wine and more....

The best place I ever had a bottle or 2 or 3 or..., well you get the idea, was in a little town in Germany along the rhine river, called St. Goar.  There was a small regional winery their that supplied wine only to the locals.  It was called Lorali Wine.  Great stuff.

I have also had some very good wine in Crevodosola, Itialy and Fully, Switzerland.

I did have some wine in Chamonix, France which was a major mistake because we had just come down from Mont Blanc an elevation of 15,781 feet and I was suffering from a mild case of altitude sickness.  It was not pretty.  I remember the wine tasting good on the way down, not so much on it's return trip.
